Succession of helminthofauna of some lagoons and estuaries.
2. Parasites of the invasive round goby in the Baltic Sea. Collaborating with
Dr. K. E. Skora (Hel Marine Station, University of Gdansk).
3. Morphology of acanthocephalans of the Black Sea fauna. During last time the
morphology of Acanthocephaloides propinquus is studying.
4. Identification of Anisakid nematodes using PCR procedure. Collaborating with

ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH EXPEDITIONS AND FIELD RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
1. Sampling of gobiids in the Gulf of Odessa, 1996-1999. During the period
the gobiids were sampled for diet study. The data is used for MSc Thesis.
2. Research collection of gobiids and zoobenthos of the Budaksky Lagoon (Black
Sea), 1998-2000. The were sampled using commercial fish-nets. The benthos was
sampled using Petersen grab onboard the motor-launch. Gobies were examined for
helminthes and also its diet.
3. Government commission on problem of phytovorous fish dead in Danube Lakes,
May 1999. The limnetic fish species were examined for parasites in Lakes Yalpuh,
Kuhurluy, Kahul, Katlabuh.
4. Sampling of helminths of gobiids of the North-Western Black Sea region, 2000-2002.
The study was carried supported by Otto Kinne Foundation, project "Biodiversity
of Helminthes of Goby Fishes from the North-Western Black Sea Region".
The goby fishes were sampled in the Gulf of Odessa, Tyligul, Grygoryivsky, Khadzhibey,
Dniester Estuaries, and Budaki and Tuzly's Lagoons.
5. Sampling of helminths of the round goby of the Gulf of Gdansk (Baltic Sea),
June 2001. The study was supported by Hel Marine Station. The previous data
about the invasive round goby parasites were sampled.
6. Research collection for dreissenid mussels and fishes in the Ukrainian Black
Sea region, September 2002. The samples were collected in fresh waters (Danube
and Dnieper Rivers, Danube Lakes), brackish water sites (Budaki Lagoon, Sasyk,
Dniester, Sukhoy and Bug Estuaries), and sea near-shores (Gulfs of Odessa and
Yalta, Zhebriany and Sevastopol Bays, Kerch Straight and North-Western part
of the Sea of Azov).
7. Research collection for gobiids of the Ponto-Azov basin, November 2002. The
gobiids were sampled in the Sasyk, Dniester and Bug Estuaries, Kahovka Reservoir,
Gulf of Yalta and Sevastopol Bays.
8. Sampling of the invasive round goby parasites in the Gulf of Gdansk (Baltic
Sea), April 2003, October 2003 - February 2004. the study was supported by Kasa
im. Jozefa Mianowskiego and Komitet Badan Naukowych inside the task of Hel Marine
Station "Badania nad biologia i ekologia ryb strefy przybrzeznej Baltyku".
